If you've ever felt frustrated by dull, muddy color mixtures, you're not alone. Learning how colors interact can help you avoid common mixing mistakes and create paintings that feel vibrant, fresh, and intentional.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll gain a deeper understanding of color and learn practical techniques for creating more unified, expressive watercolor paintings. Through guided instruction, exercises, and exploration, you'll become more confident in choosing and mixing colors from your own palette.
π Each participant will receive a 9" x 12" spiral-bound watercolor journal to use for color studies during class and to continue exploring color at home.

ποΈ Size 10 or 12 round watercolor brush
ποΈ ¾" or 1" flat brush
βοΈ Pencil, ruler, and eraser
π¨ Watercolor paints
π Masking tape
πͺ΅ Foam board, acrylic board, gator board, cutting board, or another rigid surface approximately 8" x 10"
ποΈ Art supplies may be purchased through my supply store or from your preferred art supplier.

Life happens. If you need to cancel, please notify me at least 48 hours before the workshop.
π Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance may be applied as a credit toward a future class, artwork, or art supplies.
β³ Unfortunately, no refunds or credits can be provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop.
This workshop will be taught in person and virtually. Those participating virtually will receive a zoom invite to attend. Both in person and virtual participants will receive a copy of the recorded workshop following the workshop.
