Welcome! I’m Beth
— living my second act of life, married, and a mother of four grown kids. I’m a professional watercolor artist, Certified Trauma-Informed Coach, and founder of Studio 22 and Empowered Pathways for Healing. My journey is a blend of creativity, healing, and personal growth, and I’m passionate about sharing it with others. I continue to explore self-discovery and holistic approaches to living a meaningful and wholehearted life.
For over 18 years, I’ve nurtured a career as a self-taught artist, creating vibrant, transparent watercolor paintings that celebrate the colors and moments of everyday life. Through custom commissions, workshops, and classes, I help others discover their creative confidence, believing that watercolor—like life—is spontaneous, adventurous, and full of unexpected beauty.
Alongside my art, I’ve traveled a deeply personal path of healing. My story has brought me into close relationship with betrayal trauma, addiction in my family system, mental health challenges including bipolar disorder, questions of identity and belonging, and wounds within spiritual communities. Living with a congenital difference has also shaped my body story and my journey toward self-acceptance.
Along the way, creative expression and art-making became powerful companions in my healing—helping me listen inward, regulate my nervous system, and rebuild self-trust. These lived experiences have deepened my compassion for the many ways people carry pain while still longing for wholeness.
Along with certifications in trauma-informed coaching, training in the APSATS Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model, ICF membership, Nonviolent Communication (NVC) training, and peer facilitator work, these experiences inform the grounded and compassionate way I accompany others on their healing journeys.
I empower clients to recognize their feelings, stand in their own truth, protect their energy, expand their emotional resilience, and reclaim connection to the self-trust that lives within them. I offer 1:1 coaching, group support, wellness art classes, and creative self-discovery workshops, available in person, through telehealth, or walk-and-talk sessions. My mission is to create a safe, compassionate space where others feel seen, validated, and empowered on their healing and growth journey.
Whether guiding someone to find joy and self-expression through art or helping them come home to themselves through coaching, I believe we are all practicing the art of being human—a lifelong journey of healing, self-discovery, and connection.
