🎨 In-Person Watercolor Workshop – Tulips

I’m delighted to invite you to this creative workshop where we’ll paint loose, expressive tulips in the beautiful medium of watercolor. 💐✨ Working on mini watercolor paper or notecard-sized pieces makes the process quick, rewarding, and perfect for gifting or displaying in a cozy 5x7 frame. 🌼💌

This workshop is designed for all levels—whether you're brand new to watercolor or looking to deepen your practice. I’ll introduce (or help you build on) foundational techniques while leaving plenty of room for play, exploration, and personal expression. 🎨💖

What to Expect:

• ⏳ 2-hour workshop

• 🎨 Learn basic watercolor washes & techniques

• 🌷 Practice loose, confident strokes

• 👩‍🏫 Live demonstrations

• ✨ Independent work time + Q&A

• 💛 Guidance to continue painting at home or through future classes

• 💌 Create three separate watercolor notecards to take home

All levels are welcome. Come as you are—with curiosity, openness, and a desire to explore the magic of watercolor. 🫶

• $35 – Student provides own supplies

• $45 – All supplies provided for in-studio use

• 📱 Smartphone or tablet for reference images

• 🎨 Arches 140# cold press paper (5 sheets, 4" x 6" or 5×7)

• 🖌️ Round brushes: sizes 4 and 14

• 🖌️ Flat brush: 1/2" or 3/4"

• 🖌️ Liner/detail brush (approx. size 0–4)

• 🌈 Watercolor paints (contact me for recommendations)

• ✒️ Invisible ink pen (optional)

• 📏 Masking tape

• 🧰 Foam board, acrylic board, or gator board (approx. 8" x 10")
