About the Workshop

This is not a skills-based art class—it’s a gentle space to slow down, breathe, and let watercolor become a tool for self-care and nervous system regulation. Together, we’ll explore the soothing flow of color and water as a way to reconnect with yourself, release stress, and practice mindful creativity.

🌸 Part of the power of the color meditation practice is that it offers an easy entry point if you’re just beginning your painting journey, while also providing a playful yet impactful way to deepen your practice if you already have one. Color meditation is low risk—a space of play with no mistakes, only discoveries.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, seeking a creative pause, or simply wanting to carve out time for yourself, this session will guide you through calming watercolor practices that nurture both body and mind.

What to Expect

🖌️ Guided Color Meditation – Begin with a grounding practice that invites your body to settle and your mind to soften as color flows across the page.
🎨 Gentle, Open-Ended Prompts – No pressure, no perfection—just invitations to play with paint and notice how the process makes you feel.

Supplies Needed:

  • Watercolor journal or paper

  • Watercolor paint palette

  • Watercolor round brush (approx. size 12)

  • White crayon or birthday candle

  • Ruler

  • Pencil

  • Waterproof pen(s)

  • A few round lids in different sizes for tracing
