Beginner Watercolor Online lessons

This online lesson is broken into three parts. Viewable from any device. I will take you through the steps and materials needed to understand watercolor painting. For the beginner. Learn the language and basic techniques that are the foundation to endless possibilities in your growth as a watercolorist. The last lesson will have the opportunity for you to put the newly learned basics into a simple sunset on the lake scene.

Coneflowers! I first discovered these flowers for myself around the Fayetteville Square in Arkansas where I live. I love them and they vary in size and color. With artistic license I often make up colors when I paint them. The joy for me to paint them never ends. This is why I created an online lesson on how to paint them. This easy lesson is for anyone with a desire to play in this wonderful medium. I will take you through the steps and materials needed to create coneflowers with watercolors. No experience needed.

This three week series is for exploring color. If you ever wondered which red should I use? Does temperature matter? How can I use color themes in my paintings? Then this series is for you!

Basic Drawing Lessons

Fridays: 9/23, 8/30, 9/6

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

This 3 week series will cover basic drawing techniques. Tips and tricks to gain confidence in your sketching abilities while also able to partner with any medium.

 

Introducing Grit with Watercolor

Saturday, August 24th 1:00-4:00

New technique to Studio 22. Applying Grit first, then watercolors. A really fun process to show off some texture. This workshop will provide ALL supplies needed.  No experience needed.

 

Watercolor Home Portraits Workshop

Saturday, August 31st

9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 

This one day workshop will be covering techniques on how to represent these buildings full of memories in watercolor.  No experience needed
