Saturday, March 14th. 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

I am delighted to bring you this workshop where the subject of butterflies is used to introduce or build on the wonderful medium of watercolors.  

We will be painting them on a small canvas / notecard size. A quick and rewarding experience. These are so fun to paint while also being useful as a personalized hand painted notecard or put them in a fun 5x7 frame to display in your kitchen or pass on a s a gift! During the 3 hour workshop we will complete 3 different butterflies.

This workshop we will have a special guest. A botanical garden volunteer who will give us some butterfly education.

Watercolor has a unique personality.  I have been exploring this medium for over 11 years.  It still surprises me and excites me. I will guide you through the process with demos and then time for you to create your own three separate notecards. Your experience will equip you to move forward with watercolors to paint more of these on your own.  

No experience is required.  All levels are welcome.  Come as you are with curiosity and a desire to learn more about the wonderful medium of watercolors.
